Tottenham close to reaching agreement with agent of AC Milan star for ‘€10m-per-season’ contract
Tottenham appear to be closing in on what would be their first signing under new boss, Antonio Conte.
Tottenham closing in on Kessie deal?
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Tottenham are close to reaching an agreement with the agent of AC Milan and Ivory Coast midfielder, Frankie Kessie.
The deal would reportedly see Kessie earn a staggering €10M-per-season as his salary, whilst also giving his agent what is described as a monstrous fee:

Though not confirmed above, the deal does look as though it would see Spurs sign Kessie on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old is currently in the final year of his Milan contract and is yet to pen fresh terms.
As a result, the African will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club from the 1st of January, 2021. This, of course, includes Tottenham, who are seemingly well on their way to agreeing terms with the midfielder’s agent.
Tottenham to raid the Serie A?
Kessie is likely to be well known by Spurs’ new boss, Antonio Conte, who spent time most recently in Italy with Inter Milan.
This report also follows on from one on Monday which suggested that Conte wanted to sign several current Serie A stars if he became Tottenham boss.
These players were reported to be Stefan de Vrij, Matthijs de Ligt, Alessio Romagnoli, Marcelo Brozovic, Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic.
