The five players Leeds United could be without vs Tottenham

Leeds United could be without as many as five senior players for their trip to Tottenham this weekend.

Tottenham vs Leeds

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will face off with Tottenham in Sunday’s late Premier League kick-off.

The Peacocks are having a pretty torrid season which sees them sat down in 15th place and just three points above the relegation zone at the time of writing.

However, Leeds’ form has slightly improved of late and they have now won two of their last five PL outings – though it is worth pointing out that those two wins are Leeds’ only two league victories of the campaign to date.

The Yorkshire outfit must now face a Tottenham side who are still finding their feet under new manager, Antonio Conte.

Leeds could be without five players

Ahead of facing Spurs, Marcelo Bielsa was full of praise for his latest opponent:

“He’s a genuine representative of his country in terms of managers. He’s triumphed with every team he’s managed. He’s a reference in world football, not just the league he participates in. He’s a coach who gets very high performances from his players.”

“To compare him with me, all you need to do is compare the achievements of us and then you can see the differences.”

The Argentine would also provide an injury update on his side before Tottenham and it doesn’t look too great.

All of Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch are still out whilst Junior Firpo and Jamie Shackleton appear to be serious doubts as well:
