Revealed: How long Paul Pogba is expected to be out for after limping out of international duty
Pogba joins Rashford on the sidelines
News broke yesterday that both Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford were pulling out of international duty for their respective countries.
For Rashford, it was simply to work on his fitness, with the Englishman choosing to work on his fitness in Manchester rather than joining up with Gareth Southgate’s squad.
For Pogba, however, the news was far worse. The Frenchman picked up an injury while doing a regulation shooting drill, as can be seen below, with the rest of Les Blues.

The Club have since confirmed he will return to England in order to recover.

How long Pogba will be ruled out revealed
Now, to add to Manchester United’s woes, it seems as though Pogba may not return in 2021. As per French outlet RMC Sport, his injury is set to keep him out of action for eight to ten weeks, despite the seemingly innocuous nature of it.

This would see him miss a hectic December schedule as well as part of January, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now down to just Fred, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic and the lesser-spotted Donny Van De Beek as his options for central midfield.
Pogba is the second World Cup winner to be sidelined, joining compatriot Raphael Varane on the Old Trafford injury table, a pair of issues that will not help their aims to turn a horrible run of form around.
Will Pogba’s absence affect them?
