Real Madrid dealt Eden Hazard injury blow, suggestions Belgian could miss El Classico

Another week, another Eden Hazard injury blow. The Belgian is seemingly unable to catch a break since he made the switch from Chelsea to Real Madrid.

Hazard’s injury woes

Before this week, Hazard had, as per transfermarket, suffered 12 separate injuries whilst on the books of Los Blancos.

This has seen the winger miss a reported 57 games for Real Madrid.

The Red Devils would blow a two-goal lead to eventually lose the tie 3-2. And, to further add to Belgium’s woes, Eden Hazard would be taken off after 74 minutes with a knock.

Cortegana would confirm that Hazard has suffered a puncture in the hamstring of his right leg.

The reporter then moved to provide an insight into the games Hazard could be set to miss.

These included Belgian’s 3rd/4th place play-off later this week and Madrid’s Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk on the 19th of October.

Perhaps most concerningly, though, Cortegana also wrote that ‘It also seems very premature to imagine him in the Classic with Barcelona, on the 24th’:
