Georginio Wijnaldum sends message to former Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane

Mane nets 100

Liverpool faced off with Watford on Saturday afternoon in a Premier League.

The Reds headed into the tie looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season, and were able to do so in convincing fashion at Vicarage Road.

Liverpool would beat the Hornets 5-0 thanks to a Roberto Firmino hat-trick as well as goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

After netting on Saturday, it was revealed that Mane has now netted 100 goals in the Premier League. Interestingly, not a single one of the forward’s goals have come from the penalty spot.


And, after netting 100 goals, it was also revealed that Mane is just the 3rd African player in history to score 100+ goals in the Premier League, joining Salah and Didier Drogba in said club:

Now, following Mane netting 100 goals in the Premier League, he has received a message from a former teammate.

Georginio Wijnaldum enjoyed several impressive years on Merseyside before moving to PSG over the summer.

But the Dutchman has since taken to Twitter to share the following message to Mane:
