Ronaldo scored one vs West Ham as Man United secured a last-gasp win against the Hammers.
This would be followed by Ronaldo doing nothing as his side limped to their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Aston Villa.
Ronaldo named Premier League Player of the Month
Following said games, the Premier League has confirmed on Friday that Ronaldo has now been named as the Premier League Player of the Month for September.
It is Ronaldo’s fifth Player of the Month award, and first since March of 2008, having won four in his first spell at Old Trafford.
The Man United forward topped a six-man shortlist that also included Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo, Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, Newcastle’s Allan Saint-Maximin, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Watford’s Ismaila Sarr.
Both Salah and Sarr would also provide three goals from three league games in September, with Salah the only player whose side did not lose in the month.
