Victor Osimhen lights up Serie A

Victor Osimhen left Lille in 2020, raising many eyebrows as he had only joined the French outfit the season before. However, his 18 goals in 38 games for Lille convinced Napoli to shell out for the Nigerian, and it is beginning to seem like a wise choice.

The 22-year-old striker has begun the Serie A season on fire, netting 8 times in nine games, and has the highest non-penalty xG (expected goals) in the division so far.

Chelsea and Arsenal fans beg the club to sign him

Arsenal fans are well known for dreaming big and are in need of a striker this summer with Alexandre Lacazette’s contract set to expire in June. Therefore, it is no surprise to see them keen on the club adding Victor Osimhen to their ranks come next summer.

In truth, it seems unlikely that the Napoli man will end up at either London club, but it is certainly fun for fans to dream.
