Openly Picking Partners on ’Survivor’ Is a Dangerous Strategy
A major factor in a contestant's success on Survivor is the concept that knowledge is power. It's a phrase that has even expanded as a physical advantage in the game, and even after so many seasons, it continues to ring true. If you know things, it can lead you down the right path. Therefore, if you know where all the cards are stacked, you can easily outwit, outplay, and outlast your fellow castaways. But for information to be an advantage, you have to use it well. The trick with having crucial information is when to share it and who to share it with. As seen countless times on Survivor, spilling the beans at the wrong time or to the wrong person can kill the advantage, potentially making or breaking a player's game.
