“Worse than Liverpool” How Manchester United fans reacted to first half of the Manchester derby
Manchester United endure horror first half
Manchester United find themselves 2-0 down at halftime in the Manchester derby against Old Trafford.
An Eric Bailly own goal from a Joao Cancelo cross put them 1-0 up, before some awful defending by Luke Shaw allowed Bernardo Silva to bizarrely poke in at the back post.

It could have been several more, too, had it not been for some heroic stops from David De Gea, although he undid his good work with an awful error for the second goal.
Huge saves, @D_DeGea 👏

Is there a way back for the Red Devils, or is it now about damage limitation?
“Worse than the Liverpool game” and more, how social media reacted
After watching that first half, it is safe to say that Manchester United fans and pundits alike had plenty to say. And as can be seen below, they did not hold back.
This is arguably worse than the Liverpool game for United. They at least had a go in that one. This has been a passive surrender from the kick-o#. City could also score five here

Ole Gunnar Solskjær needs to go, he doesn’t have a clue. Desperately playing five-at-the-back hoping it will fix our issue of conceding goals…
Zero game-plan today and even less attacking threat. Shocking football. #MUFC
— Toby Dobson (@Tobiias) November 6, 2021
There seems to be zero idea from United about how to approach defence or attack.
Arguably worse than Liverpool performance because it’s so meek.
Totally dispiriting from a United perspective. #MUFC

This club has turned to crap, this manager is not gonna win us anything, he is putting crap on this teams name. Embarrassing performance.

When is this nightmare going to end.
Please get this absolutely disastrous excuse for a manager sacked
We can’t take it anymore.
