Tottenham tipped to target three positions in January window

Work to be done at Tottenham

Conte was of course instated as Tottenham manager last week and has since taken charge of two matches.

Spurs’ first clash under the Italian would see them pick up a 3-2 win over Vitesse in the Europa Conference League.

This would then be followed by the Lilywhites drawing 0-0 with Everton in the Premier League this past weekend.

During the Everton game, Spurs did not manage a single shot on target across the 90 minutes.

And though they did beat Vitesse in the Europa Conference League, it is hard not to argue that Spurs should have been winning that tie anyway given the strength of the side put out by Conte.

But the fact they only just scraped a win against the Dutch outfit and then could not even muster up a shot on target against a struggling Everton shows there is still work to be done.

Tottenham tipped to target three positions in January

Obviously, the longer Conte spends with his new players the better they will be able to implement his tactics.

But the Italian is also no doubt keen to put his own stamp on this Tottenham side in the upcoming January transfer window.

And now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided some insight into the Lilywhites’ plans for the winter window.

Romano, speaking on his Here We Go podcast, stated he is sure Spurs will do something in January before tipping them to sign a striker, central midfielder and centre-back:
