Manchester City fans troll Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford

Manchester City fans have been mocking Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The first Manchester derby of the season is currently playing out at Old Trafford.

At the time of writing, it has been Manchester City who have completely dominated the tie.

Man United’s pressing has been poor and they have been unable to gain any sort of real foothold in the tie so far despite continuing with a three-back formation, which they have previously used successfully against Pep Guardiola’s City.

The score is currently 1-0 thanks to Eric Bailly poking the ball into his own net from a Joao Cancelo cross:

Man City fans mock Jadon Sancho during derby clash at Old Trafford

As mentioned above, during the first 45 at Old Trafford, Man City fans have been mocking Jadon Sancho.

Sancho, of course, spent time during his youth career on the books of City, before eventually signing for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

Sancho has since, of course, joined City’s bitter rivals Man United this year, but has yet to impress for his new club in 12 outings so far.

And, when he came out to warm up during the first 45 against City, fans of the Sky Blues opted to troll the winger by chanting ‘City reject’ at him:
