Leeds set to be without three key players for Leicester game

A fresh Leeds United injury update has emerged on Friday morning ahead of the club’s meeting with Leicester.

Leeds vs Leicester

It is fair to say that Leeds United, one of the most entertaining and surprising sides of the 2020/21 Premier League season, have not been at their best so far this term.

The Whites’ last outing was against an awful Norwich side who are still yet to win a league game this campaign and are in possession of the worst defensive record in the Premier League.

Yet Leeds still struggled to beat them, scrapping together a 2-1 win in what was a pretty poor match.

Said win still leaves Leeds with just two wins to their name from 10 outings in 2021/22 and, more concerningly, just three points above the relegation zone.

As for Leicester, they have experienced their own dip in form this season, but nowhere near as bad as Leeds.

The FA Cup holders are currently 11th in the Premier League having won four, drawn two and lost four in the PL.

Ahead of Sunday’s meeting between Leeds and Leicester, an update on Leeds’ squad has emerged.

As per The Athletic’s Phil Hay, all of Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch are available for the Leicester game, though everyone else is said to be ready:

Bamford, Ayling and Koch are all still unavailable for Sunday. Sounds like everyone else is ready.
