How Tottenham duo trolled Sergio Reguilon after goal
Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon was trolled by two of his club teammates following his goal on Sunday.
Sergio Reguilon scores vs Leeds
Antonio Conte is, of course, synonyms with attacking wing-backs. The Italian uses a back-five formation, but his wing-backs are almost always very attack-minded and can often rack up very impressive goal and assist records.
We would see this at Inter Milan with Achraf Hakimi and at Chelsea with Marcos Alonso.
Now, at Tottenham, Conte is once again using a back-five and is relying on Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal to add width to his team.
Reguilon has always been a fairly attacking full-back anyway so he seemed perfect for Conte’s system. And now, three games into Conte’s stint in north London, Reguilon has notched his first goal contribution.
Tottenham took on Leeds this past weekend. Spurs would go 1-0 down in the tie at half-time, but goals from Pierre-Emile Hoiberg and then Sergio Reguilon ensured that the Lilywhites came away with a 2-1 win.

Reguilon trolled by Tottenham duo
His strike against Leeds United would be Reguilon’s first in a Tottenham shirt.
However, Reguilon has previously scored an own goal for Spurs at the back end of 2020/21 to help Aston Villa secure a 2-1 win.
As a result, after netting his first actual Spurs goal on Sunday, both Dele Alli and Hojbjerg took to the comments of Reguilon’s recent Instagram post to troll the defender by congratulating him on his ‘second’ goal for the club – obviously mocking his own goal from last season.
