Amid Newcastle links, Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot speaks out on transfer rumours
Juventus and France midfielder Adrien Rabiot has recently spoken out on transfer rumours surrounding him.
Rabiot’s Juventus stint
Adrien Rabiot is currently plying his trade in the Serie A with Juventus.
The 26-year-old would join Juventus back in 2019, departing PSG on a free transfer at the time.
Rabiot played over 200 games for the French powerhouse and had originally been viewed as a serious prospect.
However, Rabiot never quite reached the heights predicted for him, and he has since had a fairly underwhelming stint at Juventus.
Of late, Massimiliano Allegri has been opting to deploy Rabiot in a left-midfield role.
This has had varying results to date, with Juventus currently experiencing a mixed 2021/22 which had already seen them lose four Serie A ties.
Rabiot speaks out on transfer rumours
Now, with Rabiot set to have just one year left to run on his contract come the end of this season, the midfielder’s future is being called in question.
One of the main names linked of late has been Premier League outfit, Newcastle.
The Magpies are now owned by the SAPIF and are likely to be on the lookout for reinforcements in January with Eddie Howe said to have been given £50m to play with.
However, when quizzed on transfer rumours surrounding him recently, Rabiot suggested that he sees his future at Juventus:
“I’m happy in Turin. I see my future at Juventus, of course!.”
