Tottenham’s plans for January transfer window revealed

An insight into Tottenham’s plans for the upcoming January transfer window has been provided recently.

Tottenham’s summer window

Tottenham would have a fairly active summer transfer window on both the incomings and outgoings front.

Spurs would see all of Joe Hart, Erik Lamela, Paulo Gazzaniga, Moussa Sissoko, Toby Alderweireld and Serge Aurier head for the exit door.

On the incomings front, meanwhile, Bryan Gil, Emerson Royal, Pape Sarr, Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero arrived.

Spurs would also see Oliver Skipp return from a successful loan spell at Norwich and instantly become a key figure in Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

Said signings have so far had varying degrees off success. Pape Sarr has already been loaned back out, so he is unable to show what he is capable of at Tottenham this season.

Elsewhere, Emerson Royal and Romero have been the most active signings in regard to playing time, though the former’s minutes have been limited slightly due to quarantine issues brought about due to the September international break.

Now though, as mentioned above, an insight into Tottenham’s plans for the January window has been provided.

The update comes courtesy of The Athletic, who wrote recently that Spurs will try to sign an attacking player in January:
