Morata eyed as Kane replacement

Harry Kane would, of course, see a potential move to Manchester City over the summer fail to materialise.

However, the Kane saga is seemingly not over, with another striker touted as a replacement for the Englishman recently.

We recently covered a report which suggested Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins could be brought in to replace Kane.

Now, as per Spanish outlet Fichajes, ‘Tottenham Hotspur want Álvaro Morata to replace Harry Kane’.

Morata is currently plying his trade with Juventus and has scored 50 and assisted 31 in 144 for the Serie A outfit.

Morata, though, is likely most well known to Spurs fans for his pretty poor run with their London rivals, Chelsea.

Spurs eye 2^nd Metz star

Elsewhere, the Sun have reported that Tottenham are eyeing Boubacar Traore. Traore is currently plying his trade with Ligue 1 side Metz, who Spurs recently signed Pape Sarr from.

Traore is a central midfielder with very limited experience. Despite being 20, he has featured just 10 times for Metz in Ligue 1.

No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report.

Ndombele offered to Spanish side

Finally, reports stemming from Spain claim that Tanguy Ndombele has been offered to Barcelona.

As per football.london:

According to Sport, via HITC, Tanguy Ndombele has been offered to Barcelona amid doubts over his future at Tottenham.

This of course comes after a summer in which the Frenchman asked to leave Tottenham.
