Paul Pogba’s honest admission following Man United’s loss to Leicester

Leicester 4-Man United 2

Saturday was of course a day to forget for the Manchester United faithful.

The Red Devils would lose 4-2 to the hands of an out-of-form Leicester City and are already five points off the top of the Premier League despite it being less than 10 games into the season.

Man United’s performance, on the whole, was pretty poor, but the Man United fans largely singled out two key figures for criticism.

These were manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and on-field star, Paul Pogba.

Paul Pogba’s honest admission

Pogba’s display in particular was a real concern for the Red Devils. The Frenchman was partnered alongside Nemanja Matic in a midfield pivot but was pretty absent from the game, especially defensively.

Following the match, Pogba, who has less than a year left to run on his Man United contract, made a rather honest admission.

The Frenchman would state that United deserved to lose and that they have been having those kinds of games for a long time:

“We deserved to lose. To be honest, we have been having these kind of games for a long time.

“We have not found the problem, conceding easy goals, stupid goals. We need to be more mature, play with more experience and arrogance in a good way. We need to find something, we need to change.

“We need to find the right mentality and the right tactic. Stick with it and resolve the problem.”

Pogba pointing this out is all well and good, but the midfielder did little to address the issue on the pitch during the 90 minutes.
