Newcastle interested in German duo, including Chelsea’s Timo Werner

A set of German internationals have, on Wednesday, seen themselves linked with Premier League outfit, Newcastle United.

You may not have heard yet as very little has been made of it, but Newcastle United now have new owners.

It was announced last week that the Magpies have been bought out by the SAPIF, PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media.

This now means that Newcastle United now have the richest owners in world football.

Obviously, this has led to countless players from around the globe already seeing themselves linked with a move to Newcastle despite the takeover, at the time of writing, being less than a week old.

Just some of the names rumoured to be interesting Newcastle have been FC Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho, PSG’s Mauro Icardi and Juventus’ Aaron Ramsey.

And now, as mentioned above, a new duo have, on Wednesday, been linked with the North East outfit.

Both of the updates come courtesy of Bild writer, Christian Falk.

Firstly, Falk reported that Chelsea’s Timo Werner is of interest to the Magpies, with the forward’s agency already in contact with Newcastle due to Fabian Schar being one of their clients:


Falk then reported that Newcastle are interested in Bayern Munich and Germany centre-back, Sule, who is a free agent in the summer:
