Arsenal labour to Brighton draw
Arsenal held on for a point at a soaking Amex stadium as they took on high-flying Brighton on Saturday evening.

The Seagulls had much of the best of the game, but could not find their way past the outstanding Aaron Ramsdale and some stubborn defending from the Gunners.
Coming up clutch 😎👏

The result means that Arsenal move up to ninth place, with ten points on the board following three successive wins ahead of this. Brighton, on the other hand, find themselves in fifth place, and just two points off current league leaders Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Bukayo Saka
One of the more worrying aspects of the tie, result aside, was an injury picked up by Arsenal’s teenage sensation Bukayo Saka.

The Englishman has been one of the Gunners brighter sparks during their mixed opening to the season, but went down off the ball in the dying stages of the encounter and was replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the 90th minute.
However, after the game Arteta was asked for an update on his star man, and was altogether positive about his condition, revealing:
He’ll be fine yeah. He got a knock but he should be fine.
With the international break coming up, Saka could well withdraw from the England squad if the injury turns out to be more severe than first anticipated. However, for Arsenal he has two weeks to make himself match fit for their next game against Crystal Palace.
