Man City to hold talks over Haaland in January, Juventus eye Bernardo Silva
Two updates concerning potential transfer activity at Manchester City have emerged recently.
Man City to hold talks over Haaland
The first of these concerns Borussia Dortmund and Norway striker, Erling Haaland.
Haaland is one of the hottest prospects in world football at present, still just 21, the hitman is likely to dominate the game for at least the next decade.
Haaland has scored 68 and assisted 19 in 67 outings for BVB and, when his release clause comes into play next summer, there is sure to be a huge fight for his services.
The release clause which comes into effect in 2022, as per The Times, is believed to be just £64m, a minuscule fee given what a player Haaland already is/will become.
The Times add that Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, is expected to hold talks with Manchester City in January over a potential move for the striker next summer.
It is understood that Haaland is top of the Sky Blues’ transfer targets, seemingly suggesting that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is no longer a priority.
Juventus eye Bernardo Silva
Elsewhere, Man City look set to receive interest for Bernardo Silva in January.
The Portuguese’s future at the Etihad was called into question over the summer when Pep Guardiola confirmed that Bernardo was amongst the City players looking to potentially leave the club.
The midfielder stayed put and has since put on some stellar displays for the Manchester outfit.
However, the Sun are reporting that Serie A outfit Juventus are monitoring Bernardo Silva’s situation at City with a view to swooping in the January transfer window.
