The Biggest Sci-Fi Movie of 2026 Is Officially Dominating Prime Video

The return of Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), and Jessie (Joan Cusack) in Toy Story 5 looks set to hit the billion-dollar mark at the box office before long, becoming only the second film to do so in 2026, after The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. However, this weekend marks the theatrical arrival of a live-action film bidding to become the first of its kind to achieve such a feat this year. A live-action Moanamovie, starring Dwayne Johnson, hopes to follow Moana 2's footsteps and become a billion-dollar sensation, although awful first reviews from critics could derail this plan. But whilst Moana makes its theatrical gambit, a host of great movies tempt audiences to stay home and stream.
