Marvel Officially Confirms 'X-Men '97's New Season 3 Villains

Marvel hasn’t even released a feature film so far in 2026, but the studio is firing on all cylinders with its impressive slate of TV shows. The first Marvel movie of 2026 launches in just one week with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is expected to act as a catalyst for the events in Avengers: Doomsday, which opens later this year on December 18. After kicking off the year on Disney Plus with a pair of live-action shows, Wonder Man and Daredevil: Born Again — both of which have been renewed for new seasons — Marvel returned to its roots with the second season of X-Men ‘97. After Season 1 was such a massive hit and the show went on hiatus for two years, expectations for X-Men ‘97 were quite high, but it more than lived up to the hype thus far.
