New James Bond Project Coming This Month Is Already Earning Sequel Buzz

Amazon has acquired the James Bond IP for a hefty price, and the studio has enlisted Dune and Dune: Part Two director Denis Villeneuve to step behind the camera and helm the film. Steven Knight, famed for his work writing Cillian Murphy’s Peaky Blinders series, is penning the script for the next James Bond movie, but he’s being tight-lipped about what kind of story he wants to tell. It’s unclear at this time when the new James Bond movie is going to be released, but Villeneuve has confirmed that it’s next on his schedule once he finishes work on Dune: Part Three, which is coming to theaters on December 18.
