Tom Hardy’s Divisive Action Epic with a 35% Audience Score Still Earned Over 154M Hours of Views on Netflix
Director Gareth Evans made one of the greatest action movies of all time (2011’s The Raid), and while the proper big-screen Hollywood studios have yet to really give him the platform he should have, Netflix has become a reliable supporter of his work. The streamer released his folk horror film Apostlein 2018, but betting on Evans didn’t really pay off until 2025, when Netflix released his most recent film, Havoc. After coming out last spring, the cops vs. other cops vs. drug gangs action movie was watched for over 154 million hours.
