Tom Hardy Was Cut From This Near-Perfect Sci-Fi Masterpiece People Love to Hate

It’s become a bit of a running joke in Hollywood to put Tom Hardy’s handsome face behind a mask, as seen in The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk, and the first half of Mad Max: Fury Road, but his appearance in one of the most iconic masks in movie history was actually left on the cutting room floor. Hardy had a cameo in Rian Johnson’s brilliant Star Wars: The Last Jedi, one of the best movies of the whole series(yeah, I said it), and though his scene was cut, he recently revealed that he’d be happy to do more Star Wars. Now, with Disney reopening the Star Wars floodgates with new movies like The Mandalorian and Groguand Shawn Levy’s Star Wars: Starfighter, it’s time to get Tom Hardy back into space.
