Netflix's New Adaptation from the Author of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' Gets Sub-Par Rotten Tomatoes Score

Adaptations of Roald Dahl novels haven't always proven successful. For every Wonka there is a BFG, with the latter flopping at the 2016 box office. However, the latest Dahl adaptation is avoiding the box office and has headed straight to Netflix, with an adaptation of the 1980 children's classic, The Twits, releasing on the streamer on October 17, 2025. However, the film has yet to reach the streaming summit, currently sitting in third worldwide, outperformed by The Woman in Cabin 10 and the jaw-dropping documentary The Perfect Neighbor.
