When a good action franchise comes along, we often look to keep it around for a while longer. That is exactly the case for the action film series, Kingsman, which stars Taron Egerton as Eggsy. The franchise was seen as Egerton’s big break, as he appeared as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin in the 2014 film, Kingsman: The Secret Service. Following a successful outing at the box office and with critics, a sequel arrived in 2017, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, but it failed to match its predecessor in any of the aforementioned categories. A third installment has long been discussed, but the project remains firmly in development purgatory. Now, Egerton has recently rebuffed the explanation offered for the delay.
