Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) has always been defined by his loyalty, his sense of justice, and yes, his temper. From the start of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, he was the guy pacing the interrogation room, often playing “bad cop” to Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) calm and calculated approach, slamming suspects against walls and seething through every line. You always knew he had more to say, but thanks to network broadcast standards, he couldn't, shall we say, really speak his mind. For fans like me, it always felt like something was missing.
