Sergio Ramos could finally make his PSG debut against Manchester City

Ramos joins PSG but injuries follow

PSG pulled off one of the biggest coups of the summer when they lured Sergio Ramos to Paris, and away from Real Madrid.

The Spaniard spent 16 years in the Spanish capital, winning every trophy available to him on multiple occasions, and racking up 671 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring 101 times in the process.

Now, however, he trains with the man he sought so often to keep out of the game, in the form of el Classico rival and fellow summer signing Lionel Messi.

But, the Spanish star has been riddled with injuries since he joined, meaning that he is yet to make his competitive debut for the club.

Could it come tomorrow?

Could his debut come against Manchester City?

Manchester City. At the Etihad. Knowing a win guarantees qualification. The stages don’t come much bigger at this stage of the season.

A man who has always risen to the occasion, Ramos is now in line to make his PSG debut against Pep Guardiola’s side after being named in the travelling squad taken to Manchester.

A man brought in specifically to help achieve the club’s goal of Champions League success, Ramos could yet have a massive part to play in the campaign.

Now 35 years old, he may not be the defensive stalwart that he once was, but his knowledge and experience could prove vital, especially for a PSG side that are known to lose their heads, as they did against Manchester City in the semi-final last season.

Will he be thrust into the action?
