Emile Smith Rowe sends message to Tammy Abraham after equalling Arsenal legend in San Marino rout
Arsenal starlet Emile Smith Rowe has taken to social media to send a message to Tammy Abraham, after making history in England’s meeting with San Marino.
Kane bags four
Gareth Southgate and co. of course marked their return to action a short time ago.
On the back of a 5-0 drubbing of Albania last time out, the Three Lions made the trip to minnows San Marino, aware that another 3-point haul would ensure their place at next year’s World Cup.
And, when all was said and done, book their spot on the plane to Qatar is precisely what England managed, in the most comprehensive fashion imaginable.
A laughably one-sided affair eventually culminated in the visitors emerging on the right side of a 10-0 scoreline.
Harry Kane proved the undisputed star of the show, bagging a first-half poker, whilst the likes of Harry Maguire and Bukayo Saka managed to find the target, too:

Abraham message
Also amongst the goals, meanwhile, was Saka’s Arsenal teammate, Emile Smith Rowe.
After emerging from the bench to mark his England bow versus Albania last week, ESR was this evening afforded the opportunity to shine in a starting role on the left wing.
And the 21-year-old went on to take full advantage of his first-ever Three Lions start, bagging a goal and an assist, amid a stellar all-round display:

His 58th-minute strike on Monday also saw Smith Rowe equal Arsenal legend Paul Merson in the record books, as the first Gunners star to find the net on his maiden England start since 1992:

And, as outlined above, ESR was evidently in joyous mood following the full-time whistle at the San Marino Stadium.
Taking to his official Twitter account, the midfielder tonight posted a photo of himself celebrating, accompanied by a message to ex-Chelsea and current AS Roma hitman Tammy Abraham, who teed up Smith Rowe’s first international goal:
