Arsenal’s fans will love how Emile Smith Rowe paid tribute to Gunners during England debut

A photo of Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has piqued attentions amongst the club’s fanbase this evening, on the back of his senior international bow.

Kane rampant

England of course marked their return to action a short time ago.

In the penultimate fixture of their World Cup qualifying campaign, the Three Lions welcomed Albania to Wembley, desperate for all three points in their bid to keep 2nd-placed Poland at bay in the Group I table.

And, when all was said and done, secure a 7th win on the road to Qatar is precisely what Gareth Southgate’s men managed.

An almost laughably one-sided affair was ultimately decided by half-time, as the hosts ran riot on their way to five goals inside the opening 45 minutes.

Harry Kane proved the star of the show, returning to form in a major way by means of his latest hat-trick, with Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson having been on target, too:

But whilst it was a member of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham squad who ultimately stole the headlines up against Albania, as outlined above, those over on the red half of north London were also given plenty of reason to celebrate on Friday night.

This comes with Emile Smith Rowe, on the back of a stellar opening to the campaign, having been afforded his senior England bow.

After being handed a late call-up by Gareth Southgate owing to a series of fitness problems in the Three Lions camp, the nation’s boss wasted little time in making use of his latest up-and-coming midfield talent.

Late in the action at Wembley, with the result of course long secured, ESR was introduced off the bench in place of Raheem Sterling:

And Arsenal’s starring academy graduate was evidently keen not to overlook his roots in taking to the pitch, with photos of Smith Rowe to have made their way online showcasing the fact that the 21-year-old donned Gunners-themed shin pads on his international bow:
