Luke Shaw explains what Cristiano Ronaldo has improved at Man United since his arrival

Luke Shaw has recently been discussing the impact Cristiano Ronaldo has had since his second arrival at Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Man United stint

Cristiano Ronaldo would of course re-join Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

Despite being 36 years of age, Ronaldo has instantly become a regular feature at Old Trafford, starting every game since he returned, barring a League Cup defeat to West Ham.

Across the five ties he has started in, Ronaldo has been as prolific as ever. The Portuguese marked his return to England by netting a brace in Man United’s 4-1 win over Newcastle.

He would also score a key goal vs West Ham in the Premier League, as the Red Devils came from 1-0 down to win 2-1.

In the Champions League, meanwhile, Ronaldo netted United’s only goal in their loss to Young Boys, and then scored the winner vs Villarreal.

Luke Shaw on Ronaldo

Ronaldo’s latest outing saw him come off the bench for the final 33 minutes as United were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton.

Despite a couple of early setbacks for Man United this season, Luke Shaw has been pretty positive regarding Ronaldo’s second arrival at the club.

Speaking recently, Shaw was discussing life with Ronaldo in Man United’s dressing room, with the left-back explaining thar CR7’s mentality is second to none, and it is mentality which Ronaldo has really improved in and around the Man United changing room:

“You know the star he is, what he has been doing over a number of years.

“It is just unbelievable to be in a dressing room with him.

“You see the way he conducts himself, how professional he is. It’s clear to me why he has been at the top for so many years.

“His mentality is second to none. I think he has really improved that in and around the changing room.”
