Gary Neville outlines why Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should not be sacked as Manchester United manager
Manchester United’s tough run
Manchester United fell to a disappointing 4-2 defeat to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of two late goals from the Foxes.
The defeat made it 2 from 3 Premier League games, with just one point taken from a possible 9, and have a tough run of fixtures on the horizon beginning with a tie with Serie A side Atalanta on Wednesday evening.
Man Utd have won just 2 of their last 7 games and their upcoming fixtures look like this 😬

As a result, pressure is beginning to build on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who seems out of his depth and has been as of yet unable to strike a tune out of his star-studded Red Devils.
Gary Neville thinks he needs time
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Gary Neville outlined why he felt that Solskjaer was right to be under pressure, but why he thinks that it would be wrong to part ways with the current boss, saying:
“He should be under massive pressure with the squad that’s been assembled, and the fact that he’s been in the job now two and a half, nearly 3 years”.
“But the club are not going to change him, and the club are going to stick with him until the end of the season.”
“It’s not the right time to discuss it now, I’ve got Manchester United fans on my social media all the time saying “Gary, he’s your mate, you won’t call him out”, No I won’t. I won’t call Steve Kean out, or Arsene Wenger at Arsenal”.
He continued:
“He’s a club legend, he’s my teammate, I actually like him a lot, and Manchester United have failed with two previous managers who have been world class. I think they persist until the end of the season”
“If he does win an FA Cup, and a Europa League, and finish in the top 4, I would say that’s still building a successful team. You’re up against three of the best teams in the world in Chelsea, City and Liverpool with three of the best managers.
“But the pressure is building, 100%, and it should do”

Is Neville right to back the manager, or do United need change?
