Arsenal’s mixed 2021/22 season
Arsenal brought in six summer signings and had the highest net spend of all the current 20 Premier League sides:

Despite this, Arsenal would have an awful start to the 2021/22 season. The north Londoners began their campaign against a Brentford side who had never played Premier League football in their history.
Arsenal, though, still limped to a 2-0 defeat the hands of the Bees, before then losing to Chelsea by the same scoreline and then being smashed 5-0 by Manchester City.

However, following the September international break, Arsenal’s form has picked up, with the Londoners winning three league games in a row and conceding just once.
Arsenal now face a clash with Brighton on Saturday evening:

Ahead of the game, Gabriel Magalhaes has been speaking to the Daily Mail. When doing so, the Brazilian spoke about Arsenal’s main goal, which he claims is to evolve as a team so the individual talents of the great players comes out in every game:
“This is one of the top clubs in Europe and playing here is a dream come true. I am happy and honoured to wear the shirt and every day here helps me get closer to my dreams.
“Our squad is very strong, young players with a lot of potential, and we truly believe we will achieve a lot.
“The main goal is to evolve as a team so the individual talents of the great players come out in every game. That’s what winning against Tottenham was about. It showed what we can do and what we can achieve throughout this season and on to the next ones.”
