1000-Lb. Sisters: Why Fans Want Tammy Slaton To Remain Single

As one of the stars of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy Slaton has let thousands of fans into her life, and viewers have a lot to say about the reality star's dating habits. Tammy has been in a few relationships on 1000-Lb. Sisters and fans don't think these romances have been the best for the reality star's life. From her exes promoting Tammy's unhealthy diet to their shady backgrounds, this is why fans don't want Tammy to get into another relationship.

Tammy and her sister Amy Slaton decided to star on 1000-Lb. Sisters as motivation to lose weight. The sisters wanted to lose enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery. This operation is a goal of the Slaton sisters because it makes it easier for weight loss to be achieved. Amy was able to lose enough weight and got bariatric surgery, but Tammy has had trouble reaching the required weight. In addition to focusing on the duo of sisters' weight loss journeys, 1000-Lb. Tammy's ex-boyfriend Jerry Sykes infamously disregarded Tammy's weight loss ambition when they were dating. Amy shared that she didn't like Jerry because Amy "needs somebody that’s gonna motivate her in this weight loss, not just want her to stay the way she is." 

Jerry has gone down as one of the worst boyfriends in reality TV history not only because he was cheating on his wife while dating Tammy, but also because he held Tammy back from reaching her weight loss goals. Jerry would snack with Tammy and once bought her a 32-ounce milkshake. Eventually, Tammy and Jerry broke up, but fans are wary of the 1000-Lb. Sisters star's ability to find a partner that will help her achieve her desired weight. Some argue Tammy shouldn't have a boyfriend at all during this time and should focus all of her attention on qualifying for bariatric surgery on 1000-Lb. Sisters. While this might sound harsh, Amy and Chris have established that the outcome of Tammy's weight loss journey very well could be a life or death scenario. It would be nice for her to have a significant other to help her through the trying time, but that's a risk many fans don't think will pay off.

Like most reality TV stars, Tammy's fans have a lot of opinions about her love life. Tammy has a pattern of dating unreliable men that hurt her chances of losing enough weight to better her health. While Tammy might be looking for her next partner, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans are hoping she stays single and prioritizes her weight loss endeavor.
